Beers n' Business
Zest BYO
18:00 – 20:00
Our monthly networking event for people in business will be held at Zest on Hoskins Street - Thursday, 26th November at 6pm! Members and non-members welcome.   Beers and Business is always a great opportunity to network with others in the business community, to collaborate on ideas, and share challenges. Our guest speakers will be Jacqui Collins – Owner of Ariah Park hotel and Zest, as well as Kathy Hetherington – Owner of Quandary Coffee. They will talk us through the challenges and rewards of making the most of difficult circumstances such as Covid.   Jacqui and Kathy will be providing a taste testing of the coffee, mini espresso martinis, light refreshments as well as beer and wine.   Here is a bit about Jacqui and Kathy.   Jacqui “We purchased Ariah Park Hotel in January 2018 after leaving our very stressful and hectic Sydney lives for a quiet life together in the country. We got that terribly wrong!!!    We have never been busier. We have weathered the COVID storm, just managed to pay our bills and we decided to throw a coffee shop into the repertoire!!! Our move to the country experience has been extraordinary but not without challenge and difficulty on multiple levels.    We are very excited to change to Quandary Coffee in the near future at Zest and Ariah Park Hotel and to work with Kath to explore those future opportunities.”    Kathy “I launched Quandary Coffee earlier this month online, roasting coffee beans in my roaster all the way from Israel, in a custom built ‘shed’ at home in Quandary.   COVID has been life changing for me and for our family. Prior to March, I held a National role and travelled constantly with work. COVID happened and I got a taste of working from home and with no travel started to think about my future plans.   Quandary Coffee is a side hustle for me at present, giving me a chance to build a business locally with a high-quality product, roasted fresh right here at home.   Jacqui has been amazing in both using our product and promoting it. I am very grateful to be given the opportunity to support Zest and The Ariah Park Hotel with Quandary Coffee, giving locals the chance to experience fresh coffee, roasted locally, right here in Temora Shire.”   We look forward to seeing you there!
