The 2018 Temora Business Awards were celebrated on 27th July, with an enjoyable and well attended presentation event at the Temora Hotel.
Awards co-ordinator, TBEG was delighted with the excellent support of local business, with the evening the culmination of a very successful Awards program, which this year saw an increase in entries of over 45 percent.
Congratulations were extended to the Award winners, along with finalists and all nominees, with a strong field of contenders for the various categories.
The Temora program is aligned with the NSW Business Chamber Awards program, requiring entrants to make submissions to an independent judging panel. Local winners where applicable now go on to regional judging.
TBEG extended special thanks to local Award sponsors, Deb’s Jewellery, McDonalds Temora, A&B Financial Planning, Granleese and Co, Temora Aviation Museum and Intersales Temora for their support.
A highlight of the evening was the announcement of the David Carruthers Memorial Award for Lifetime Achievement in Business to Peter James, of Miller and James, for his outstanding contribution to local business and the community for over 50 years.
